Our Foundation

Where the name comes from.

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. Psalm 16:5–6 · KJV

Our name comes from scripture. A lot is a portion, a piece of ground measured out and given to someone to look after. We try to keep that in mind in how we run this company and how we treat the people we work with.

We are a veteran-owned business, and we believe in being there for people. That shows up in the ordinary things: doing what we said we would do, answering when you call, and treating a small order with the same care as a large one.

01

Integrity

We do what we say we will do, because a price or a date is worth nothing if the word behind it is not good.

02

Stewardship

We take care of what we are trusted with, because public money is being spent on the other side of every order.

03

Service

We supply every order the way we would want it supplied to us, because there is a real person waiting on the other end.

The Brief

What changed this week.

A plain-language read on IT software, operating systems, and cybersecurity, written for people who buy, budget for, and defend federal technology.

  • Federal IT Brief: July 28, 2026

The largest Microsoft patch cycle on record landed the same day two of its own products went end-of-support. A SharePoint exploitation wave is running that patching alone will not close. And the November CMMC deadline just came off the calendar.
